Eligibility Criteria – Pharmacy Council of NZ Intern OSCE
To attempt the Assessment Centre OSCE Exam, candidates must:
Eligibility Criteria

Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D (or
equivalent)

Be registered in the Intern Pharmacist scope of practice
Successful Pharmacy Council of NZ Skills Assessment approval
3
Successfully complete the EVOLVE Intern Training Programme
Active licence in the home country or at least
eligible to apply
4
Receive formal confirmation of ITP completion
Minimum 1 year of pharmacy work experience as an intern pharmacist
5
Remain within valid intern registration period
Successfully clear the English language test, such as IELTS/ OET (as per NZPC standards). Test results should remain valid until the final registration complete.

Minimum 37 weeks (approx. 9 months) full-time equivalent

Conducted in an approved pharmacy training site

Supervised by an approved preceptor with a current APC

Minimum 35 hours per week practice
